For many years, vodka was a very simple liquor that did it’s job and performed wonders as a primary component in numerous cocktails. Eventually, folks discovered ways to infuse vodka using various flavours and then the simple beverage evolved into a thing far more diverse and sophisticated. Nowadays, the quantity of flavoured vodkas in the market is astonishing. Virtually all leading vodka producers promote several kinds of flavoured vodka and a few possess a very remarkable selection. While many flavours tend to be prevalent than some others, the range proceeds way above ordinary and most recognized flavours like citrus flavoured vodka. Certainly the most interesting and probably the best of the flavoured vodkas is whipped cream vodka.

Whipped Cream Vodka – A Delicious Trend Begins

France’s Pinnacle vodka was the initial supplier to make whipped cream vodka. They continue to be the main manufacturer of whipped cream vodka. Nevertheless, other manufacturers have realized the popularity of whipped cream vodka and a few choices have become available. Well-known vodka manufacturer Smirnoff lately introduced a whipped cream vodka in addition to a comparable product which boasts the flavour of marshmallows. Considering that a leading manufacturer like Smirnoff is getting into the whipped cream flavored vodka marketplace, you can be sure that it’s a popularly accepted flavour and anticipate a few other vodka distillers will do so as well.

Should the ordinary whipped cream flavored vodka not be sufficient to fulfill your sweet flavoured vodka desires, maybe the chocolate whipped cream vodka flavour can better meet your requirements. This unique flavoured vodka functions especially well for vodka cocktails including black Russians, white Russians, mudslides besides other relatively sugary dessert vodka cocktails. As the flavour gets to be more prevalent the volume of whipped cream vodka recipes should expand rapidly. What’s to not love regarding the triple pleasures of whipped cream, chocolate and vodka? Together, possibilities are countless.

Although there certainly are lots of whipped cream vodka recipes which employ whipped cream vodka as a main component, there’s lots of different instances in which the inclusion of a spot of whipped cream vodka performs the objective of contributing to a classical vodka mixed drink. The whipped cream flavour does very well at hiding the alcohol flavour in the vodka. Thus it is an ideal companion whenever you want to include a little more alcohol in a drink without also adding an overwhelming alcohol flavour.

When your are thinking of mixed drinks to create using whipped cream vodka, options are plentiful. It is possible to blend the vodka along with any mixer which performs nicely in creamy drinks. A couple possible options are root beer and orange pop. Combining whipped cream vodka with root beer creates something that folks have named the root beer float. Should you use orange pop, the beverage is called an orange creamsicle. Each of these take full advantage of whipped cream vodka’s sweet, vanilla flavour.

If you aren’t yet incorporating whipped cream flavor vodka and vodka flavored whipped cream into you drink repertoire, you are missing out on some great possibilities. I encourage you to try these products and introduce them to your friends, which will make you a very popular mixologist at any get together.

Here is an awesome Cotton Candy Vodka Martini recipe we learned about from a correspondent named Tiffany – thus we call it the Tiffany Martini. We have always enjoyed vodka and cranberry juice because it is quite delicious for such a simple drink. Given that, it’s not surprising to find cranberry juice playing a supporting role in other popular vodka drinks, such as the standard Cosmopolitan, the Bay Breeze and the Sea Breeze. Still, you never quite know how a flavored vodka is going to work with mixers that normally go quite well with unflavored vodka. However, we were quite surprised to find out just how well the flavor of the Cotton Candy Vodka plays against cranberry juice as a mixer. Tiffany’s martini recipe adds lemon lime soda to, as she says, “cut it a little” and make it a little less syrupy. She says the flavor reminds her of a mix between cotton candy and candy apple. We can’t really confirm the candy apple part because it has been too many years since either one of us has actually tasted a classic candied apple, but one thing we can confirm is that this drink is absolutely delightful – so DO try this at home.

Tiffany Martini
Into a shaker cup 3/4 full of ice, add:
1 oz of Cotton Candy Vodka
1-1/2 oz of Cranberry Juice
Cover and shake vigorously for 10 seconds
Strain into a martini glass
Add 1 oz of chilled Lemon Lime Soda and stir (because it is not a good idea to put soda into a shaker cup )
Garnish with a thin slice of apple

Tiffany also says that another good ratio for this drink is 2 oz Cotton Candy Vodka, 2 oz of Cranberry Juice, and 1-1/2 oz of Lemon Lime Soda. We thought that was pretty darned good as well – though it does fill up a martini glass a bit more than you might want it to be if your are starting to get tipsy!

If you like Cotton Candy Vodka, we are pretty sure you are going to love this drink. Give it a try and enjoy! Cheers!

Below you will find a couple of our favorite Cotton Candy Cosmo recipes. The classic vodka cosmopolitan cocktail has been one of our favorite vodka drink recipes for many years. There is something seductive about the flavor of vodka and cranberry juice in the first place (could it be the vodka? lol) and so variations on that theme, such as cosmo drinks, naturally tend to carry some of that over with them.

The standard Cotton Candy Cosmo recipe is merely a variation of the classic cosmopolitan recipe using Cotton Candy Vodka in place of regular vodka. The “hardcore” recipe, also listed below, was made popular by TGI Fridays and uses real cotton candy rather than flavored vodka (though you can certainly use Cotton Candy Vodka in that recipe if you please – we just find it to be a little bit too much for our taste buds… your results may vary )

Standard Cotton Candy Cosmo:
Into a shaker cup half full of ice, add:
1 oz Cotton Candy Vodka
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1/2 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
Shake vigorously for 5 – 10 seconds
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with lime and/or orange and/or cherry

Hardcore Cotton Candy Cosmo AKA Cotton Candy Martini (uses real cotton candy):
Into a shaker cup 3/4 full of ice, add:
1-1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz X-rated Fusion Liqueur
1 oz 100% Cranberry Juice
Cover and shake vigorously for 10 seconds
Strain into a martini glass that is stuffed over the top with a baseball sized piece of cotton candy (don’t be scared – the mixture will dissolve the cotton candy like magic as you pour. Do this in front of your guests as it is a great show).

We are quite certain that you will thoroughly enjoy either one of these delicious Cotton Candy Cosmo recipes. If you happen to know if any variations, we’d love to hear about them – just use the contact form.

If you are looking for a great Cotton Candy Martini recipe, then you have come to the right place. Those who are absolutely devoted to the more traditional gin and vermouth martini recipes may find the drinks featured here a little hard to swallow. These days however, even the purists have to admit that vodka martinis are by far the more popular of the two mixed drinks. Even so, it is true that about the only thing the Cotton Candy Martini has in common with the original recipe for a martini is the glass (and perhaps the shaker cup depending on who you ask).

Below are a couple of great Cotton Candy Martini recipes and I have to say that these represent two of our favorite vodka drinks because they are quick and easy, they have very delightful complex flavors and they are absolutely wonderful on those days when you have a sweet tooth.

For both of these drink recipes, it is best to have the glasses chilled. If you want to get fancy it is a nice touch to coat the rims of the glasses with some ordinary table sugar. We are actually inclined to favor the first recipe over the second as it is a tad less sweet and of course we are a bit partial to the main ingredient in the first (though you can still use cotton candy vodka in the second Cotton Candy Martini recipe as well – we just think it is a little bit overkill – but judge for yourself, of course!).

Basic Cotton Candy Martini:
Into a shaker cup 3/4 full of ice, add:
2 oz of cotton candy vodka
1 oz of pineapple juice
Splash of grenadine
Cover and shake vigorously for 10 seconds
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with cherry

Hardcore Cotton Candy Martini AKA Cotton Candy Cosmo (uses real cotton candy):
Into a shaker cup 3/4 full of ice, add:
1-1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz X-rated fusion liqueur
1 oz 100% cranberry juice
Cover and shake vigorously for 10 seconds
Strain into a martini glass that is stuffed over the top with a baseball sized piece of cotton candy (don’t be scared – the mixture will dissolve the cotton candy like magic as you pour – an awesome spectacle so do this in front of your guests ).

Whichever one of these you decide to try we know that you and your friends will be delighted with the result. If you happen to run into any alternative Cotton Candy Martini cocktail recipes, we’d love it if you would share them with us through the contact form.

Hi and welcome to Bob and Arlyta’s Cotton Candy Vodka – the site where we boldly explore the mysteries, wonders and joys of this delicious flavored vodka drink. As professional drinkers with PhD’s in Vodkology, we are constantly conducting research and helping to expand the frontiers of vodka technology – risking life, limb and liver all for one reason and one reason only: because we care about you! Keeping you informed is our number one goal and we will happily drink ourselves into oblivion trying to do it – and then do it all over again because we can’t remember what we learned the first time.

These days it is rather hard to find any of the vodka brands who haven’t gotten into the flavored spirits game. A few of our favorites so far are, APear and APeach from Absolut Vodka, Watermelon from Smirnoff Vodka, Pink Grapefruit from Belvedere Vodka and Ginger from SKYY Vodka to name a few we have tried. As of this moment, Pinnacle Vodka is the only one to have come out with the Cotton Candy Vodka flavor. And while it’s true that Pinnacle will be found a shelf or two down from the top, it does represent great value and their flavors are certainly quite mixable – Pinnacles’s Cotton Candy Vodka is certainly no exception.

Cotton Candy Vodka Drink Recipes

Our very favorite vodka mixed drink has exactly two ingredients: 1. Frozen Vodka and 2. Frozen Shot Glass. Directions: Remove your favorite premium vodka and two shot glasses from the freezer. Pour the syrup-like frozen vodka from the bottle into the glass. Clink the glasses together (cheers!). Ceremoniously raise glass to your lips and enjoy the world’s tastiest beverage! We’d suggest that you immediately wash the glasses and place them back in the freezer along with the vodka. We prefer not to completely dry the shot glasses and place them on the freezer rack bottoms up. The water residue leaves a glazing of ice over the glass that is simply awesome. Oh, and if your freezer is very cold, be warned that you can get frost burned taste buds from drinking vodka like this (and all you wintertime flag-pole lickers know exactly what that feels like – lol!).

HOWEVER, all that being said, if your experience with flavored vodka is anything like ours, you will quickly find that most of them are NOT so great for drinking straight – and we would count Cotton Candy Vodka among those that aren’t. Most flavored vodkas can be a little bit overpowering at full strength. Even if they taste great straight at first, the flavor will usually become cloying after a few shots. And if you happen to go overboard some night and end up good and hung from drinking one of the flavors, you may find that particular flavor quite undrinkable for a very long time (not that any of us “responsible” drinkers would know anything about that!).

Vodka mixed drinks are the way to go when it comes to flavors, so definitely keep checking back here because we are going to be posting all the cotton candy vodka recipes we can find, like the cotton candy martini, the cotton candy cosmo, the cotton candy collins and as many other cotton candy vodka drinks and cotton candy cocktails as we can put our lips around and then crawl back to the keyboard to tell you about.

What to Mix with Cotton Candy Vodka?

The other frontier we will be exploring are the best cotton candy vodka mixers. There are a couple of obvious ones worth trying right off the bat, such as tonic water or club soda as well as anything that is more or less a lemon lime based, such as Sprite. Various fruit juices are also well worth trying, particularly the more acidic varieties such as pineapple and orange juice and you will notice that such juices are already featured in many of the more complicated cotton candy vodka cocktail recipes we will be covering here in detail.

Cotton Candy Vodka Recipes

And finally, for those of us who absolutely love Cotton Candy Vodka, it seems a good idea to fully develop our own cotton candy vodka recipes. Then, even if the flavor gets discontinued, we will be able to make our own home brew from plain ole unflavored vodka and other easily unobtainable ingredients. Just think! You’ll be a hit at all the parties and adored by all of your friends once you develop such a mad skill!
